It may be getting cold outside, and those warm summer holidays are a mere memory, but this time of year is a fantastic one to start making plans for up coming travel. It can be a lifesaver to have something to look forward to, as the weather begins to wrap it frosty fingers around your normally happy-go-lucky self.
So in this new feature we wanted to give you a little inspiration, and share with you three travel blogs that we love to read.
First up, Vicky Flip Flop Travels :
This blog, from a fellow Midlander, has been fuelling my wanderlust for some time now. I love that she captures her adventurous spirit in her writing and gorgeous photography. I particularly love her cool hotels feature, I really must visit Makasutu Forest in Gambia and the Mandina Lodges, simply amazing!
Next up is This Battered Suitcase :
My goal is to create a fun and interactive website centred on all that travel stands for: new people, new cultures, new landscapes, new food, new outlooks on life. There is no paid advertising on this blog – it is solely for stories, yours and mine.
One of my favourite posts is this one : You Will Discover Wanderlust. I, like my fellow founders of We Blog Travel, found wanderlust crept up on us later in life, and there definitely doesn’t seem to be a cure!
Finally The Travel Hack :
The Travel Hack, is in fact a team of bloggers much like ourselves, who write about stylish adventure travel and affordable luxury. The team of stylish jet setters share their travel tips and unique experiences from their travels around the world. I could lose myself for hours in this site. Of course, hence the title of this blog they offer fantastic travel hack advice, my favourite being – How to be an Organised Traveller.
So this is the first three travel blogs that we love to read, are there any you think are worthy of inclusion?
