I also asked some of my fellow travel bloggers, if they could anything a little more unusual that they always bring with them in their carry on, and you might be a little surprised by the answers!
Carrie Bradley Ziplock bags! For storing stuff I’ve packed, for putting any soiled/ dirty clothes in from anybody being sick and for keeping things organised and easy to reach. Chloe Ridgway Yes! I do this too! One full pack in hand luggage and another full pack in the suitcase. Husband thinks I’m mad but I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve used them.
Clare Thomson – I like to make my flight experiences more glamorous than grim by acting as if I’m in first class rather than on a budget airline. So I always bring along my own in-flight toiletry bag filled with treats like eye gels, hydration sprays and hand cream and I pack a gourmet picnic too – something that the whole family enjoys tucking into.
Karen Beddow – Long haul I always take Marmite. Basically my kids love it and if you put Marmite on most things it means you can’t taste anything else/ I obviously have to locate the very small sachet’s for security purposes!
Chloe I bring a wallet stuffed with fake notes and cards. Nothing dodgy, I promise…It’s my best trick to keep my toddler entertained on flights once all other options have been exhausted!
Emma Raphael I have been known to pack giant gobstoppers for obvious child quietening reasons…
Some great suggestions I think!
