There’s nothing quite like visiting a Christmas market to get into the festive spirit and that’s exactly what I intend to do this weekend. The fairy tale surroundings, the mulled wine and the hearty comforting food are enough to make even Scrooge smile! It got me thinking about Christmas markets around the world and which is the best one to go to, and so I’ve created a Top 3 list for today’s #FridayEdit. Strasbourg, … [Read more...]
A Weekend in Parma, Italy
Food, wine, shopping, opera, sightseeing, oh and even more food and wine! I've just returned from an amazing weekend in Parma Italy, and wanted share with you, what I think are the top highlights whilst you are there. Parma is a northern city in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. It has its own airport, I travelled in from Heathrow on a BA flight, taking only a couple of hours. In this post, I wanted to give you a flavour of what Cyprus has to offer. Cypriot food is so incredibly varied, tasty and fresh. It has many influences, especially the cuisines of Greece and Turkey, but also Byzantine, French, Italian, Catalan, Ottoman and Middle Eastern cuisines. Everywhere you go on the … [Read more...]

The ship sailed from Genoa to the Canary Islands, although I disembarked at Cartegna, Spain. You can read the full review of my trip over at Cruise International magazine, but one of the … [Read more...]
